Police arrest 'penis woman' who goes floppy when authorities try and catch her
The incident unfolded near a shopping centre in Alabama over the weekend, after police had been summoned to the scene with someone complaining of 'an individual in a phallic costume'
A woman wearing a giant penis costume was tackled and arrested by police during an anti-Donald Trump No Kings protest in Alabama, US.
A clip showing Jeanna Renea Gamble being tackled to the floor along with her ‘No Dick-tator’ sign have emerged.
The incident unfolded during a protest near a shopping centre over the weekend during the nationwide demonstrations.
In a statement posted on Facebook on Monday, Fairhope police said they responded to a complaint Saturday about the penis costume, stating that they “observed an individual in a phallic costume near the Baldwin Square Shopping Center.”
Cops then approached Jeana Renea Gamble and told her to take the costume off because it was “deemed obscene in a public setting.” When she refused, she was tackled to the ground and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
In the clip, posted to Bluesky, a chorus of jeers from the crowd were heard. One person said: “Leave her alone, she’s not doing anything…she was walking away?!”
Meanwhile someone started a chant of: “Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go.”
“A dangerous person, eh?” said another protestor in disbelief, as three burly cops wrestled with the 61-year-old woman… in a penis costume.
“They’re the danger,” said another protestor in response. “They’re a danger to everybody.”
The policeman who had initially tackled the woman to the ground shouted at the crowds: “I am not gonna have anyone out here dressed like this – do you understand?”
It’s worth noting that the incident happened in Alabama, somewhere that blokes have famously had an issue with anything that might skim a pebble over their sexuality. I.e: seeing a massive, inflatable dong.
In 2020 Alabama was voted “the worst state in the nation for LGBTQ Americans”.
During the farcical scene where three grown men grappled the elderly cockslady on the floor, criticisms towards the authorities continued to be hurled by the crowd: “You’re betraying your morality – you’re not protecting anyone.”
“That’s a woman,” someone corrected tactfully. Gamble is scheduled to appear in court on November 5.
Organiser say seven million people marched on Saturday (October 18) in 2,600 demonstrations across the United States to protest against Donald Trump.
The marches were dubbed ‘No Kings’ because of protestors’ condemnation of what they saw as an increasingly authoritarian rule.
