AI predicts where Santa Claus' UK workshop could be if he leaves North Pole

Father Christmas, should he find himself in need of a change of scenery, could take his elves and workshop to five different spots around the UK, according to an AI evaluating their elusivity

Blistering winds, a danger of snow and travel trouble – Santa Claus may be better off staying in the North Pole.

But should Father Christmas find himself in need of a UK workshop to mass-produce action figures and reprints of records from the 1990s for needy children and needier journalists, there may be a perfect spot for him. And artificial intelligence has since charted the best places for the famed fat man to put up his future factories.

Whether the idyllic Lake District is keen on housing Claus and his legion of elves is yet to be seen, but Chat GPT (with images created by Midjourney) says it may be worthwhile. Rich cultural heritage in Scotland as well as ancient woodlands in England could also serve a purpose for the popular festive character should he need somewhere to move after the North Pole.

Masterminds behind Chat GPT placed the workshop in a few locations around the UK and seem to be set on five areas which could house the work of elves and Mr Claus. AI has tipped five spots across the UK as a place for Santa to head to, with a prime location in the Lake District tipped as one of the best spots for his workshop.

The Cumbria tourist attraction may get too much foot traffic to properly seclude the easily identifiable figure, but it may be a promising prospect due to the lush landscapes and idyllic setting.

The same goes for Snowdonia in Wales, another location pinpointed as a place where Santa can put his elves to work. The spot was tipped as an ideal workshop area due to its rugged landscape which could easily conceal the secret factory.

Whether the mountainous region brings out the best in the workforce is yet to be seen but it could be a potential plan for Santa should he fancy a change of scenery, but want the temperature to remain frigid.

Top secrecy may not be the most important choice for the festive hero, and instead a spot on Northern Ireland's dramatic Causeway Coast could be a finer location. Lush greenery and a spot near the ocean has this one pencilled in as a potential Santa settlement.

Greenery is always an option and fourth location New Forest in England could be the right spot for the elusive head of Christmas.

The area is already the alleged home to folksy legends, so why not throw in the festive figurehead too?

New Forest is allegedly host to the remains of dragons, highway robberies and a religious cult known as the New Forest Shakers. If Santa fancies neighbouring with an 1870s cult of celibates, New Forest is the place to go.

Should none of the previous four locations tickle his fancy, the Christmas titan could always head to the fifth and final location tipped by the AI. The Isle of Skye in Scotland could be, much like Snowdonia, the perfect spot for a hidden workshop fortress.

Stuffed full of castles and medieval architecture, there could be some abandoned buildings dotted around which would be perfect for a makeshift area for Santa to work away the festive days.
