Biden should 'send Haitian cannibals to Ukraine' as weapons against Vladimir Putin's army
Reports of cannibalism in Haiti shocked the world as gang leader Jimmy “Barbecue” Cherizier took over, but now one critic has claimed that US President Joe Biden should send them to Ukraine
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has been told to send “Haitian cannibals” to Ukraine as a weapon to fight Vladimir Putin's Russian army.
Violence has plagued Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince for years, but the situation has escalated drastically in recent months as gangs rage against the county's outgoing Prime Minister Ariel Henry resign. A state of emergency was declared in the country after gangs attacked two prisons, setting many criminals free and it is now thought that 80% of the Haitian capital is controlled by these gangs – led by Jimmy “Barbecue” Cherizier.
But the situation took a dramatic turn a few weeks ago when, describing the violence in the country, an unnamed journalist said that cannibalism has been witnessed on the streets as the violence reached "unprecedented" levels.
Speaking to the Daily Express US, they said: “The level of violence is unprecedented. The gangs seemingly want to kill as many people as they can. They are in a fear campaign where they want to appear as murderous and as violent as possible.
“Cannibalism is not widespread, but definitely an indication of the worsening situation. It definitely happens on a few occasions.”
And now, with calls for the United States to get involved and calm the situation down, a critic has said that Biden should send the “Haitian cannibals” to Ukraine to fight against Putin.
Writing for The Federalist, Samuel Mangold-Lenett said: “The war in Ukraine rages on, as does the invasion at our southern border and the broader illegal immigration crisis. Biden’s handling of both has left him politically vulnerable and threatens his reelection.
"The latter will now only grow worse, with Haiti descending further and further into chaos as heavily armed street gangs allegedly led by cannibal warlords run amok.
"Why not . . . arm Ukraine to the teeth with violent migrant hordes who will stop at nothing to live under democratic rule? Maybe the silver lining is that out of the chaos, Biden can help form a coalition between the Haitian gangs and migrant caravans that guarantee Ukraine’s victory.
The Barbecue Battalion could take a bite out of Putin’s forces and finally change the conflict’s trajectory.”
The Biden administration has said that the country's long term goal of stabilising the country so Haitians can hold elections hasn't changed . . . but no mention of cannibals has been made.
