England star Chloe Kelly turned heads when she ditched her bra and wore a racy see-through hooded gown as she wowed at the Woman of the Year Awards

England star Chloe Kelly stole the show with her racy see-through gown at the Woman of the Year Awards.

The Lioness hero, 27, turned heads at the prestigious event as she ditched her bra and donned a hooded metallic gown that left very little to the imagination. Kelly has not just been capturing attention on the football pitch in recent months with her celebrity status booming since she fired England to a second successive Women’s Euros triumph.

The Arsenal star followed up her winner in the 2022 final by scoring the winning penalty to see the Lionesses' retain their Euros crown. Her heroics were rewarded as she scooped the Sportswoman of the Year award and was also pictured with Spice Girls legend Mel Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice.

Kelly posted a snap of her posing in her bold dress, with the caption: “A night with Harpers celebrating women”.

The Lioness’ fit caught the eye of the most followed footballer on social media Alisha Lehmann, who dubbed her: “Hot.” Arsenal team-mate Katie McCabe also commented: “Okkkkkk”.

Kelly’s dress follows suit of the current ‘naked dress’ trend that has been worn by Sydney Sweeney and Kristen Stewart, with the football star putting her own spin on it.

The hooded dress first became a fashion statement in the mid-80s but has enjoyed a comeback in recent years.

The dress amplified her stunning physique at the awards night that celebrates remarkable women in the worlds of art, fashion, music, film, sports and literature.

Speaking at the event, Kelly reflected on how far the women’s game has grown in recent years, she said: “There was never a professional game to look forward to, so I think the girls now can see it, to be it.

“We're on the billboards, and we're on the pitches in stadiums, and when we're on TV, so the girls can see us whenever they want.”

Kelly’s fame has seen her attend glitzy awards as her fashion agenda continues to grow alongside her football career.

Last month, the forward dressed up in a figure-hugging pink dress for the British Museum Ball and she has attended parties including GQ Men of the Year and the MTV EMAs, as well as the Pride of Britain.

Kelly has also posed on the cover of Glamour. Speaking in the magazine, she revealed she wants to raise the profile of the women's game: "We changed mindsets for so many people that maybe thought of the women’s game as, ‘Oh, it’s just women playing football,’ whereas no, it’s just ‘football’."

She added: "In women’s football, you’re allowed to just be yourself – fans and players. I feel like we’re together as one to make a change in society and in the game.”
