Arsenal vence Supertaça de Inglaterra

Arsenal venceu o Liverpool no desempate por penáltis (1-1, 5-4 gp), no jogo a contar para a Supertaça de Inglaterra. Cédric Soares entrou aos 58’, para o lugar de Hector Bellerín.


Aubameyang (12’) abriu o ativo no primeiro tempo, mas Minamino (73’) restabeleceu a igualdade antes do tempo regulamentar e obrigou ao desempate por penáltis. Na marca de 11 metros, o Arsenal converteu todos os pontapés (Cédric bateu o terceiro), enquanto Rhian Brewster falhou para o Liverpool.


Com este resultado, o Arsenal conquistou a 16.ª Supertaça de Inglaterra. Título que Mikel Arteta junta à Taça de Inglaterra conquistada diante do Chelsea (2-1).

HAT-TRICK DE SALAH DÁ VITÓRIA AO LIVERPOOL EM JOGO DE LOUCOS

O Liverpool, que na época passada se sagrou campeão 30 anos depois, iniciou a defesa do título da melhor forma, impondo-se por 4-3 ao recém-promovido Leeds United.

Em Anfield, as duas equipas protagonizaram uma primeira parte simplesmente sensacional. De grande penalidade, Mohamed Salah inaugurou o marcador logo aos 4 minutos, mas o conjunto de Marcelo Bielsa rapidamente empatou, golo de Harrison aos 12’. Sem tempo para respirar, Virgil Van Dijk recolocou os reds na frente, com um cabeceamento aos 20', mas o mesmo defesa-central holandês concedeu enorme fífia e permitiu o empate aaBamford 10 minutos volvidos. Porém, o Liverpool rapidamente voltou a tomar a liderança do marcador, com um golaço de Salah, aos 33’.

No segundo tempo, após passe do português Hélder Costa, o polaco Klich fez o 3 -3 aos 67’ mas o hat-trick de Mohamed Salah estava guardado para nova grande penalidade, aos 88’, após falta de Rodrigo, que se estreou nos visitantes, sobre Fabinho dentro da grande área.

ARSENAL ENTRA FORTE COM 3-0 AO FULHAM DE CAVALEIRO

O Arsenal começou da melhor maneira a participação na Premier League, com uma vitória por 3-0 sobre o Fulham, que teve Ivan Cavaleiro a titular. Cédric Soares não foi opção no Arsenal.

Lacazette inaugurou o marcador logo aos 8 minutos, sendo novamente o jogador a marcar o primeiro golo num arranque de Premier, já o tinha feito na época 2017/18.

A equipa de Arteta controlou bem o jogo sem precisar de ser brilhante, e o 2-0 surgiu por pelo estreante Gabriel Magalhães, que aproveitou a má marcação de Hector - nem sequer saltou - para marcar de cabeça mesmo em cima do risco da pequena área, em posição frontal. Assistência de Willian, também no seu primeiro jogo pelo Arsenal.

O terceiro golo dos Gunners foi o melhor, com Aubameyang a aproveitar uma jogada de contra-ataque para um remate em jeito cruzado, após grande passe de Willian, a sua segunda assistência do dia.

MOURINHO COMEÇA TEMPORADA COM DERROTA EM CASA

José Mourinho começou a Premier League 2020/21 com o pé esquerdo. A jogar em casa, o Tottenham foi derrotado pelo Everton por 0-1, partida da primeira jornada da competição.



Pelos spurs, Gedson Fernandes não foi convocado, enquanto André Gomes foi titular no conjunto de Carlo Ancelotti e saiu a meio da segunda parte. O único golo da partida foi apontado pelo avançado Dominic Calvert-Lewin, ao minuto 55, num cabeceamento fulminante entre os centrais do Tottenham após cruzamento de Lucas Digne.



Esta foi mesmo a primeira derrota de José Mourinho em toda a carreira na primeira jornada do campeonato: até aqui o português tinha 11 vitórias e 7 empates.



O Tottenham disputa na próxima quinta-feira a segunda pré-eliminatória da Liga Europa, com visita à Bulgária para defrontar o Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Man. United vence com penálti de Bruno Fernandes depois de o árbitro ter apitado para o final

O Manchester United conquistou os primeiros três pontos nesta edição da Premier League na visita deste sábado ao Brighton, um encontro com um final inesperado e impróprio para cardíacos.

Depois de liderar por 2-1, os red devils viram a equipa da casa - que já tinha atirado cinco (!) bolas aos postes da baliza de De Gea - empatar no último minuto dos descontos.
O árbitro apitou para o final do jogo, mas foi chamado à atenção pelo VAR que no último lance tinha havido uma mão na bola na área do Brighton.

Chris Kavanagh viu as imagens e pediu a quem já saía do campo para voltar, porque decidiu marcar penálti. E Bruno Fernandes, chamado a converter, não perdoou!
