Putin's cunning plans to 'take Europe from the North' with UK 'on his list'
EXCLUSIVE: Professor Anthony Glees believes that Putin plans to turn Europe into his 'client states' by focusing on the Far North first, where Western defences are still too weak
A world-renowned war expert has delivered a chilling assessment of Vladimir Putin, and has warned that Russia is determined to turn Europe into 'client states.'
Professor Anthony Glees believes that Putin is 'already planning' for the day he's achieved what he sees to be 'victory' in Ukraine. He said: "Western intelligence is noting that he is sending his lowest level troops into the meat grinder of Ukraine's battlefields. His best forces are being consolidated along Russia's Arctic borders where Western defences are still too weak.
"He is not planning to come at Europe from the East but from the far North. This makes Britain not the last target on the list, but with Norway and Iceland one of the first."
It comes as the expert has warned that anyone who gets close to the Russian leader does so at their own peril. The mysterious and often deadly fates of those in Mad Vlad's inner circle have long baffled Western intelligence agencies.
Officials are left questioning whether the spate of deaths - too numerous to be mere coincidence - are the result of calculated assassinations, perhaps orchestrated by Putin himself, the Ukrainian secret services, or genuinely tragic suicides.
In September 2022, Ravil Maganov, boss of oil giant Lukoil, and critic of Putin died after he fell out of a window. Earlier that year, Dan Rapoport, a prominent opposer of the Ukraine war, was found dead outside an apartment building in Washington DC in August.
Then in December 2023, pro-Putin regional politician Vladimir Egorov was found dead after falling from the third-floor window of a home in the Siberian district of Tyumen Oblast.
Russia’s high suicide rate only adds a grim layer to the puzzle, exacerbated by the miseries inflicted on ordinary people under Putin’s rule.
The expert reckons that some analysts argue these deaths are just bad luck and caution against forming some kind of pattern. Yet, Professor Glees disagrees with them and claims that the evidence paints a far darker picture.
He insisted: “In my view they are entirely wrong. The bulk of these deaths are without doubt the work of Vlad, Russia’s killer king. Some, happily, the work of Ukraine ’s skilled spooks or its fine soldiers scoring bulls-eyes on their targets.”
Indeed, Putin’s lethal reputation is far from limited to his political allies. Millions of Russian citizens have suffered under his iron-fisted control, particularly since the start of the war in Ukraine.
According to Professor Glees, Putin bears direct responsibility for the deaths and maiming of over one million people.
His cruelty extends beyond his borders: the UN Commission investigating the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airways Flight MH17 confirmed that Putin was personally responsible for the deaths of 283 passengers and 15 crew, shot out of the sky by Russian missiles.
"The only life he cares about is his own. Any hint of opposition is met with death,” warned Professor Glees
This comes after Mad Vlad recently issued an ominous threat to Russia's top legal mind in a bizarre rant. Demanding that the judicial system project strength, Putin invoked a famous line from a mid-century Soviet crime film, telling the assembled judges: "A thief must be in jail."
"The essential principle - and we all learned this during our time at university - is that punishment must be inevitable," he declared.
